So…..heres the 'About Me' bit!
Mum to one very busy little boy & sole Photographer behind FoKiss Photography, based in Mayo and working across the West of Ireland., that’s me! Both titles keep me very busy and I love it!
I’ve been attached to my camera ever since leaving the Crawford Art College, many moons ago! The minute I found the darkroom I was hooked and all my paintbrushes were thrown out the window. Originally destined to be an Art teacher, I hung up my teaching cap and ventured into my first love, photography.
Originally from Mayo, I began my photography career in Cork, before spending nine wonderful years living and working in Clifden, Connemara, Galway. Those years shaped my love for natural light, wild landscapes, and relaxed, real moments. Now I’m back home in Mayo, photographing weddings, family portraits, and newborn photography throughout Mayo, Galway, The rest of ireland and beyond.
I love a good road trip and I’m always up for a bit of adventure. Some of my favourite photography experiences have been destination weddings in Germany, Croatia, France, and Spain — which we sensibly turned into family holidays. If there’s laughter, good people, and a camera involved, I’m happy out. Bonus points if there’s a glass of vino at the end of the day. Sure where would ya be! I’m totally up for all the craic! Just get me a vino and a wheelbarrow and we’re off! ha! Life’s too short to be sensible!
